Erudia Business School · Professional Master's degree

Project Management

The Master's trains managers who can scope, plan, steer and close complex projects, then coordinate programmes and arbitrate project portfolios, in public, private and non-profit organisations across the WAEMU (UEMOA) area. It prepares them to lead public projects, public-private partnerships, projects funded by technical and financial partners and digital projects, and to drive business or intrapreneurial projects, while controlling risk, quality, governance and stakeholders.

Official degree title (in French): Master Management de projets.

Learning outcomes

  • Scope a project aligned with the organisation's strategy and assess its feasibility.
  • Plan a project, estimate its costs and control its schedule, costs and scope through to closure.
  • Set up a funded project using the logical framework approach and a public-private partnership project, and design its monitoring and evaluation.
  • Apply public procurement rules and secure a project's contracts within the OHADA and WAEMU (UEMOA) area.
  • Manage the risks, quality and governance of a project, programme or portfolio in line with the guidance of international standards.
  • Manage teams and stakeholders using predictive, agile or hybrid approaches.

Priority is given to Bachelor's degrees that include project management courses: IT, digital, communication, management, economics, civil engineering and engineering. Applicants from other Bachelor's degrees may be admitted on the strength of their project experience, with a self-paced refresher course in planning and cost calculation, extended to agile fundamentals, offered on the platform before semester 1 to any admitted student who lacks this knowledge; its arrangements are to be set by the school.
